I once had the opportunity to see an advertisement about an advocacy to Animal Rights. One of the said program was the Animal Shelter Support. I have seen that several people, particularly in the United States care about their pet animals. You would be surprise to see that they would file a sick leave from work for the reason that they would bring their pet dog or cats to the Vet for checkup.
I was actually surprise about the “tender loving care” of some people with regard to their pets. This is another reason why they build the Animal Shelter Support. Based on the name itself, it is dedicated to the well being of animals. May that be dogs, cats among others. For others who are STILL clueless about this program, let me summarize it for you.
Animal Shelter Support is a program advocacy that helps animal who is need of a habitat. For some medical practitioners and advocates, they treat animals the same way they treat human beings.
This may sound interesting and it brings warmth to the heart (especially to pet lovers) but practicality wise, this program would be more applicable to developing-to-fully-developed countries for the reason that in third world countries, they have much more things to consider than taking care of beings lower than humans. Some actually do not treat animals as their pets that they could pamper every now and then, they actually bring home animals for their own disposal, such as for work related areas.
In another side of note, Animal Shelter Support are also available to some countries (even on third world). It is good news that some are really taking their time and effort to take care of animals the way the former treat human beings.
