Last week, I promised myself to flip a blog wherein I only had eight days to develop and make it ready for sale last halloween eve. It is November first right now and let me give you updates.
Angel Project
The main purpose of angel project is to be developed as soon as possible and make it ready for a sale and hopefully earn a profit out of it.
Keyword-rich domain name
I had a a keyword-rich domain for my niche wherein it is good for seo purposes. Though, it is a three word domain, but the keywords are there and for me, it is easy to remember.
Design
Premium themes are quite expensive and since this is my first flip, I settled for an a-ok free theme, but then again changed it to a revolution church theme, which is awesome by the way. It is a free theme special thanks to Brian Gardner. I created a good logo for it, which is not working on IE browser, but will look up for that soon.
Content
I had four pillar posts for my blog, but only published one already. The three I had to still proof read it and then publish within the next few days. These are all 300-500 words per post and in my honest opinion, will be great pillar posts for Angel Project.
Promotion
It got indexed! lol. I have started it a week ago and got crawled and indexed by search engines. Though, it was pinned on a slow paced manner, I really didn’t put much promotion for it yet. I focused on my content and design.
So How did it Go?
I have not sold it… YET! Though I did not meet the deadline, which is halloween eve, I am beginning to like the site. But still it is still for sale, maybe not today but in the future. This is my first project and so far, I am beginning to love creating sites like these, as much as doing a few other stuff I do online and offline. I will be updating again this once in awhile and will give updates
