The legendary Guitarist Eddie Van Halen. He is one of the most respected guitar players of the 80’s and 90’s and now mentioned and recognized among the greats such as Eric Clapton and Jimmi Hendrix.
He was also diagnosed with cancer symptoms in his mouth and undergone treatment. He is considered a heavy drinker and chain smoker but tried to curb his bad vices in later life. It was then reported in 2002 that he was free from cancer but the consequences of his bad vices continued to create an obstacle to his career when he lost of commission for quite some time. In 2004, Van Halen finally got back to the industry, going out in a tour once again with Sammy Hagar, the Vocalist.
Eddie Van Halen’s health is somewhat in a state of uncertainty right now. His health issues may be of continuous obstacle to him but this does not make him stop on whatever he likes doing.
