I have been finding the elaborated meaning of the Electoral Vote Definition. My only idea of the electoral vote definition is that for each states in the United States of America, there is a certain number of electoral votes or number of votes designated to it. For example, California has an approved electoral vote count of fifty (50). If for example, Obama won the votes in the state of California, He will have an electoral vote of 15 points which will be added to his score. Another example would be IOWA, this state is considered small and for that, it has only five electoral votes for which can be contributed to the winner to the given state. There should be 270 electoral votes to win the presidential election.
Electoral Vote Definition is said to be originated back then wherein makers of the consitution theorized that the presidential race shouldn’t be won by a huge number of votes, but it should depend on how many people inhabits a certain state. This is called the mob rule. In that effect, they have implemented that with accordance to their population by state, there will be a designated number of electoral votes that comes with the former.
