One of the best celfone network carrier in the USA, Verizon has recently launched Xoom - A 10.1 Motorola tablet that is challenging the ever famous Ipad (Ipad2 - soon) and other tablets in the market. With this tablet on their network, Galaxy Tab I, the “ipad killer” slashed down its price to $300 but with a contract of two years with Verizon. This is a good deal IF you are not that tech savvy and not want the latest tablet on the market. Though the two year contract from Verizon is a little too much, there is a $20 data plan - the cheapest that you can subscribe to.

That Samsung Galaxy Tab, was launched at a price tag of $600 - also too much of a tag price since launch. Now, it has been slashed down to almost 50% and bow down to the newest android tablet today - Motorola Xoom.
The Motorola Xoom has the Android’s newest operating system - it is running Honeycomb with dual processors and a possibility to get 4G internet access anywhere.
So, if you just want a nifty and portable gadget that will just do your basic surfing, entertainment and work, you can settle with the Galaxy Tab I, but if you are really into gadgets, you can always buy the Motorola Xoom ($799 at Bestbuy) and the upcoming Galaxy Tab II soon.
