I have a pet fish named Dori, a special goldfish that caught my attention, caring and love. You want to know why she’s special? Because of all the fishes that my nephews bought, she was the only survivor. All five were dead after a month that is why one day, I named her Dori and feed her every other day. You do not know how she wiggle her fins when she sees me with the fish pellets on hand. Yesterday, when I was feeding her, I thought of buying her a new Metal Halide Aquarium Lighting for her habitat. She has a small aquarium but I want to give her the best lightning possible and not just the cheap one you could buy anywhere.
I have researched some articles regarding a Metal Halide Aquarium Lighting and here are some ideas about this special lighting.
These aquarium lights are among the brightest bulbs available for aqaurium systems. If you are petting clams, anemones or even those cool corals like acropora and millepora which is very amusing to watch, these lights are right for you. There are two main types: A single-ended which is also called as “mogul based,” and double -ended (duh!) Metal Halide Bulbs should be replaced almost every year and for this special aquarium lighting, you will need a bulb for every two feet of length of the tank. Another thing to consider is wattage which depends on the depth of the aquarium. The deeper the depth, the higher the wattage, I assume.
All the best for Dori. After investing for these special bulbs, I think i might to add playmates so that she would have company. If ever, I have bought one, I will post it here on my blog so that everyone can see it.
