I remember blogging about this a year ago where the representative of the Philippines for Ms. Universe 2009 was, I think a flop. I think they read my blog and sent out a TRUE FILIPINA BEAUTY. Not to mention, she was 4th place on the pageant. I have watched the replay awhile ago and was stunned with her answer. “Major Major.. problem.” I told my sister - “now that’s gonna hurt.” Well, she ended on 4th but STILL, she managed to get into the final five. That is an achievement to say the least.
Anyhow, True Filipina Beauty. She is charming and quite witty. But on the question and answer portion - you could instantly notice that she is very nervous. Though managed her poise, you can still sense there WILL BE SOMETHING WRONG with her answer.
Major Major! Now that’s something worth a parody. There has been enough parodies about Ms. Raj’s quote on the pageant. They even have a fanpage with that on Facebook.
STILL. That is quite an achievement. Kudos to you Ms. Venus Raj and I know we will see you more in local television.
