Last Weekend, My girlfriend and I watched this Movie. We were actually anticipating this movie over a month now and even when we were out of the country, we can see posters about this (even in a different language) So, what is my review about Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief Movie? I can give it a 7/10 with 10 being the highest. Heres why:
Plot: The contemporary setting made it interesting. Seeing demi gods in present time is quite cool.
Script: This is a turn off. They should’ve write better. Its like highschool musical the movie with greek mythology.
Effects: Special effects are ok, but again, they could have done better.
Actors: they sometimes over react. Casting is important and they should have gotten someone who can call in the crowd. Uma thurman is not enough.
Overall, I must admit that It is better if I could have waited for the DVD release. Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief Movieis a good movie, but then again, it will sell in the stores and not in the cinemas.
