Today, I get the chance to download and use the Revolution church theme. Just a few weeks ago, I blogged about a theme that I installed. I know it is not advisable to change themes every now and then, but I saw this powerful, featured-rich theme and did not hesitate to download. Since I am not a coder, I literally spent hours in customizing this theme but it is all worth my time and effort.
Customization
Logo
Having a logo would imply uniqueness from other blogs. I made a simple logo using free tools and resources. I found good fonts and downloaded some from a site called dafont. You should check it out, it has a large database of fonts, and the best part is, its free!
Thumbnail
The Revolution theme has a default thumbnail of “R”. I managed to changed it to “h” with little effects attached to the letter.
Future Edits
Favicon
Everybody loves favicons. It is the little icon you see beside your url in the address bar, sometime soon, I will customize and have a favicon for this site.
Featured Gallery
One awesome plugin called Featured Content Gallery is very much compatible with this theme and I will alot some time soon to put a featured gallery for Hinlalato.
I shall tinker some more with the other features if I have the time and definitely I think my blog will settle for this theme. This hopefully would be the last theme that I will ever use. So, how do you like it? I know you want to download it. Grab it now. It is free. ![]()
